Welcome to STM Photography
Usually this section is supposed to explain your work and dedication but instead mine is a story. The year 2006 my parents wanted a kid, they tried and tried and tried and had many losses. In 2009 my mom lost complete hope and accepted the fact she would never have a child. She decided she was going to start doing photography for pregnant women and their families. The day that she went to go buy her camera gear was the same day she got a surprise, a heartbeat, I was on the way. When she heard this news all of that camera gear kind of sat in a box until about 4 years ago. When I was around the age 9 my mom bought me a Fujifilm XA-10. Of course then I didn't do much with my pictures but I really enjoyed taking pictures of my family and dogs. Fast forward 2 years from then I found a box. This box had a Nikon D60 with a 18-55mm lens on it. When I found this gear I immediately asked my mom about it and she was hesitant to let me touch it but she slowly let me use it more and more. When I was around 13 I was ready for a better camera as I was growing up and also was more familiar with the D60. That's when my mom let me start using a Nikon D7100. The Nikon D7100 had a lot more features then the D60 so it took me a few months to get used to. After those few years I started learning about editing software's and got comfortable with that. Through this journey of learning how to do photography I made many mistakes but only learned more. April 1st 2025 I got injured during a baseball game. April 3rd I was told I tore my ACL which crushed my heart because of my love and passion for sports. For the 1st week I just sat around at the baseball games and didn't do anything but then I remembered my camera. For the remainder of baseball season I took this time to try and learn more and more about photography. Throughout this time I grew confident and proud of my work and always dreamed of doing something with my talent. On September 16th I was shooting a football game for my school and the thought of having my own small business couldn't get out of my head so I went home and started thinking. I spent all night thinking of names and came up with Seese the Moment. A lot of people know me as STM or STM Photography but Seese the Moment just felt right with my story and name. The whole point of this story is to show that I started with close to nothing. Just a decade old camera and a strong love for photography.
